In the beginning…
In the late 1950’s a small group of tennis enthusiasts began negotiations and plans to develop the Albany Tennis Club. By 1960 the charter membership (10 families) realized the dream with two outdoor tennis courts. Soon to follow were a swimming pool and two more outdoor courts. Eventually the desire for year-round tennis brought the addition of indoor courts. For over 50 years, Albany Tennis Club has been enjoyed by many families. With the family-friendly atmosphere, as well as the dedication and hard work of its member owners, the Albany Tennis club has continued to thrive.
